Session Chair Kuldasheva Zebo is an associate professor in the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations at Tashkent State University of Economics. She earned a master’s degree from Central China Normal University in 2018 and a Ph.D. in Regional Economics from Wuhan University in 2023. Her doctoral research focused on the Belt and Road Initiative and its impact on the economies of Central Asia. During her Ph.D. studies, she received several prestigious international awards, including the Outstanding International Student Award and the Presidential Scholarship at Wuhan University.

Honorable Guest Dr. Farhad Taghizadeh-Hesary is an associate professor of economics at Tokai University and a visiting professor at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. In addition, he is a vice-president and co-founder of the International Society for Energy Transition Studies (ISETS) based in Australia. He is a top researcher in energy economics and serves as Associate Editor/Board member of several scientific journals, including Singapore Economic Review (SSCI), Frontiers in Energy Research (SCIE); Global Finance Journal (ESCI); Energy Efficiency(SSCI, SCIE); and Editor of Cogent Business & Management (ESCI).
